MyWorldVisaPhoto

Privacy Policy

Last updated 25 May 2026

This policy explains what MyWorldVisa Photo (“we”, “us”) collects when you use the passport- and visa-photo tool at photo.myworldvisa.com, and what we do with it. It does not cover the separate MyWorldVisa visa-application service.

1. Your photo

When you upload a photo, we use it only to create your passport or visa image — cropping it to the official size, replacing the background, correcting lighting, and checking it against the document’s requirements.

Processing runs on our own private servers using deterministic computer vision. Your photo is never sent to any third-party AI service, never used to train any model, and never sold or shared for advertising. We strip metadata (such as EXIF and any location tags) from the image.

We do not keep your uploaded photo after processing. Any temporary copies used while creating your result are cleared automatically within minutes.

2. Your finished files

When you download your photos they are yours to keep. We also keep a copy so you can re-download them if you lose yours — currently up to 7 days — after which our copy is deleted automatically. Deleting our copy does not affect the files you’ve already downloaded.

3. Signing in with Google

You can sign in with your Google account to save your photos and re-download them. When you do, Google shares your email address, name, and a Google account identifier with us. We use these to create your photo-tool account, deliver your files, and contact you about your order.

This photo-tool account is separate from any MyWorldVisa visa-application account. We do not share your sign-in details or your photos with the visa service. If you choose to be notified when the visa service launches, we keep only your email address for that purpose, and you can opt out at any time.

4. Payments

During the launch promotion the tool is free. When paid plans begin, payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe processes your card and billing details; we do not see or store full card numbers. We receive confirmation of payment and your order details.

5. Usage analytics

We collect anonymous usage data to understand how the tool is used: pages viewed, the document type chosen, your approximate country (derived from your network connection, not precise location), and your device type (e.g. mobile or desktop).

This analytics data does not include your name, your email, or your photos, and we do not use advertising networks or cross-site tracking.

6. Cookies

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. If you sign in, we use an essential cookie to keep you signed in. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may set essential cookies for security and to operate the site.

7. Who we share data with

  • Cloudflare — website hosting, content delivery, and security.
  • Google — only if you choose to sign in with your Google account.
  • Stripe — our payment processor, only when you make a payment.

We never sell your data and never share it with advertisers.

8. Where we operate and where your data is processed

The MyWorldVisa Photo service is operated from Thailand. Our subprocessors — Cloudflare (hosting and security), Google (sign-in) and Stripe (payments) — run global infrastructure, so your data may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States, the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area. Photo processing itself runs on our own private servers.

If you are located in the UK or EU, your rights under UK GDPR or EU GDPR apply to your data regardless of where the service is operated from. You can exercise those rights by contacting us at [email protected].

9. How long we keep things

  • Uploaded photo: not kept after processing — temporary copies cleared within minutes.
  • Finished files (our backup copy): up to 7 days for re-download, then deleted — your own downloaded copy is unaffected.
  • Account & order history (if you sign in): kept while your account is active; deleted on request.
  • Usage analytics: kept in aggregate, anonymous form.

10. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to delete your account. Depending on where you live (for example under UK/EU GDPR), you may have additional rights. Contact us and we’ll help.

11. Children

The tool is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy if our practices change. The “last updated” date above always reflects the current version.

13. Contact

Questions or requests about your data: [email protected].
