MyWorldVisaPhoto

Terms of Service

Last updated 25 May 2026

These terms govern your use of MyWorldVisa Photo (“we”, “us”), the passport- and visa-photo tool at photo.myworldvisa.com. By using the tool you agree to them. They do not cover the separate MyWorldVisa visa-application service. Please also read our Privacy Policy.

1. What the tool does

You upload a photo of yourself and choose a document type. We crop it to the official size, replace the background, correct the lighting, and check it against that document’s published requirements. You then receive print-ready files: a single digital image, a 6-up print sheet, and a 4×6″ layout.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the tool. An adult may create a photo on behalf of a child they are responsible for.

3. Your account

You can sign in with your Google account to save and re-download your photos. You are responsible for keeping access to your Google account secure. This photo-tool account is separate from any MyWorldVisa visa-application account. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.

4. The photo you upload

By uploading a photo you confirm that:

  • it is a photo of you, or of someone you are responsible for or have permission to use;
  • you have the right to use it; and
  • you will use the result only for a lawful purpose, such as a genuine passport or visa application.

You must not use the tool to create or alter a photo for any fraudulent, deceptive, or unlawful purpose, or to impersonate another person.

5. Compliance — and what we can’t promise

We build each document’s specification from authoritative, published sources (head size, dimensions, background, and similar rules) and check your photo against it. We’re proud of how accurate that is.

However, the authority that issues your passport or visa makes the final decision on whether a photo is accepted. Acceptance can also depend on things outside the photo itself — how it’s printed, the expression or pose on the day, glasses, head coverings, or a rule that changes after you use the tool. For that reason we cannot guarantee that any photo will be accepted by a government or other body.

We are an independent service and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting for any government, embassy, or passport authority. To get the best result, follow the on-screen guidance (lighting, expression, no glasses) and check the finished photo before you submit it.

6. Price and payment

During our launch promotion the tool is free. After the promotion, creating your print-ready files costs $5 per photo (or the price shown at the time). Any price is shown clearly before you pay.

When paid plans begin, payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe’s terms also apply to the payment itself, and we don’t see or store your full card details.

7. Refunds

Our photos are digital files delivered immediately, so we don’t offer refunds. By downloading, you agree to immediate delivery and waive any right to cancel. It is your responsibility to check that your photo is fit for purpose before you download, use or submit it — the free compliance check before payment is there to help you get it right first time.

This applies whether you change your mind, upload an unsuitable photo despite the on-screen guidance, or an authority declines a photo for a reason outside our control. If you believe a file is genuinely faulty, contact us and we’ll look into it — but this does not affect any non-excludable statutory rights you may have under the law of your country.

8. Your files and how long we keep them

We don’t keep your uploaded photo after processing. Your downloaded files are yours to keep. We also keep a copy so you can re-download it if you lose yours — currently up to 7 days — after which our copy is deleted automatically (your own downloaded files are unaffected). See the Privacy Policy for full detail.

9. Ownership

You keep all rights in the photo you upload and in the finished files we create for you — they’re yours to use for your application. The tool itself, our software, branding, and website content remain ours and may not be copied or reused without permission.

10. Availability

We work to keep the tool available and accurate, but we provide it “as is”. It may be unavailable for maintenance, and image processing depends on shared resources, so occasionally it may be slower or temporarily queue your request.

11. Our liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses we could not reasonably foresee, for a photo being declined by an authority, or for missed deadlines, travel costs, or application fees. Our total liability to you for the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the photo in question. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms if the service changes. The “last updated” date above always reflects the current version; continuing to use the tool means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. Disputes arising out of these Terms or your use of the service may be brought before the courts of Thailand on a non-exclusive basis.

Your statutory rights are not affected. If you are a consumer outside Thailand, the mandatory consumer-protection laws of the country where you live continue to apply to you, and any applicable data-protection laws (including UK GDPR and EU GDPR) continue to govern how we handle your personal information. Nothing in these Terms reduces or removes those rights.

14. Contact
